The Graduate Record Examinations is a standardized test  GRE® Test is available in two types: GRE® General Test and GRE® Subject Tests.It is an admissions requirement for most Graduate Schools in the United States.

Knowledge / skills tested: Analytical writing, quantitative reasoning and verbal reasoning

Score / grade validity: 5 years

Purpose: Admissions to masters and doctoral degree programs in various universities
